#PrideMonth – 10 LGBTQIA+ Musics

Hey guys! June is the pride month, the most important time when we celebrate all the struggles and achievements won during these years for respect and rights.

Many of these achievements are due to art and mainly through music. Many artists produced songs to talk about love, freedom and equal rights among people.
They are inspiring songs to strengthen the cause and thus become anthems for social positioning, including important demonstrations and protests for the LGBTQIA+ community.

So I decided to select some music that are made to talk about LGBTQ community rights and respects.
When we talk about a singer that make this song, one of the most important name is Madonna.

1 – Vogue by Madonna

It makes no difference if you’re black or white
If you’re a boy or a girl
If the music’s pumping it will give you new life
You’re a superstar
Yes, that’s what you are, you know it

2 – Born This Way – Lady GaGa

No matter gay, straight or bi
Lesbian, transgendered life
I’m on the right track, baby
I was born to survive

3 – You Need to Calm Down – Taylor Swift

You just need to take several seats and then try to restore the peace
And control your urges to scream about all the people you hate
‘Cause shade never made anybody less gay so

4 – Firework – Katy Perry

You don’t have to feel like a waste of space
You’re original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow
🌈

5 – True Colors – Cyndi Lauper

But I see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that’s why I love you
So don’t be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors are beautiful
Like a rainbow
🌈

6 – I Want To Break Free – Queen

I want to break free
I want to break free
I want to break free from your lies
You’re so self satisfied I don’t need you
I’ve got to break free
God knows, God knows I want to break free

7 – Girls / Girls / Boys – Panic! At the Disco

Girls love girls and boys
Girls love girls and boys
And never did I think that I
Would be caught in the way you got me
But girls love girls and boys
And love is not a choice

8 – Beautiful – Christina Aguilera

‘Cause we are beautiful no matter what they say
Yes, words won’t bring us down, no, no
We are beautiful in every single way
Yes, words can’t bring us down, oh, no
So don’t you bring me down today

9 – Everyone is Gay – A Great Big World

If you’re gay then you’re gay
Don’t pretend that you’re straight
You can be who you are any day of the week
You are unlike the others
So strong and unique
We’re all with you

10 – Boys Who Like Boys – Eli Lieb

So what’s your problem with boys who like boys
Maybe we just want a little love
Boys who like boys
Know one holds you like a big man does
Go keep on hating I’ll just keep dancing
With boys who like boys
Yeah, I just want a little love

#PrideMonth – Genderless Fashion

June is the month of LGBTQIA + pride and when we talk about this we have to remember the victories and achievements throughout all those years of struggles have passed.

Since 1969 a lot of time have been passed and a lot of thing had change, including on fashion.

And I could not pass up an achievement that has been pioneered for some years, fashion without gender.

We have a great symbol for genderless fashion, Harry Style. He have been wearing a lot of clothes inside of the genderless kind.

Genderless Fashion

Is a fashion made for human no matter if you are a boy or a girl, this type of fashion is for everybody and it have started with the boyfriend pants. The man can wear a skirt, walk in pink, choose a floral print, dress up, take care of himself, love himself. Women wearing baggy pants and baggy shirts are no less feminine because they don’t have a marked waist or a face full of makeup.

Unissex is not Genderless

When we are talking about genderless fashion we are talking a type of clothes that break all the rules for a
standard male and female, this discussion pass through blue and pink and stops in a style made for everyone, the parts aren’t made for man or woman, they are made for human.

Neutral Gender

Imagine that you walk into a store and buy what to do or dress well. This is the possibility in a gender neutral place, everyone can wear clothes that fit.

The idea of this gender neutral fashion is that there is no separation of sexes, with the consumer being able to choose and buy any piece that pleases him, without this choice defining him as a male or female person.

In practice, the genre fashion points to the creation of collections with style, cut, history and quality that do not lead to a gender orientation, but that these creations say something about the personality of the final consumer.

Movie Tip – The thing about Harry

What’s up residents from Ro World, are u ok?

I’m here to bring you a super cute movie that will make your little hearts warm with love, I’m talking about the movie The Thing About Harry, a super cliché novel made with an impeccable soundtrack.

Plot of The Thing About Harry

Sam and Harry studied together in high school a phase that was not very good for them and that brought back very bad memories throughout history. Sam has understood himself as gay since high school, while Harry couldn’t quite understand himself. It is on a trip to their mutual friend’s wedding that Sam talks to Harry about what happened at school and the heartaches. Something comes up to everyone’s surprise, Harry says he’s pansexual.

Sam doesn’t understand anything and while they spend the night in a hotel on the road, they talk and Harry opens up saying he was envious of Sam to see all the maturity and confidence in being who he is since his high school days.

Harry apologizes to Sam for the pranks and for everything he did wrong to Sam, and the conversation seems to make Sam look at Harry with new eyes.

Days pass and they meet at another party, and they continue to meet, and they start to get closer in an incredible way. They create a friendship to be proud of.

Everything is going well until Harry meets Sam with an older boyfriend and the jealousy is clear in his eyes. On the same night Sam breaks up with the artist and stays at the table with Harry and some friends and the night is unforgettable. And we felt a bit tense between them because Sam always said that “good friends should never have a relationship as this could jeopardize the whole friendship if dating doesn’t work out”

However that’s not what Harry thinks, he begins to fall more and more in love with Sam, even tries to date Sam’s best friend to create jealousy and this drives them away for a long time. And then Stasia invites them to her wedding without Sam knowing of Harry’s presence and there things start happen.

It is in this marriage that the first kiss took place, from this day onwards there are meetings and disagreements, love and discussions.

Analyzing The Thing About Harry

I see something very important in the film, the issues of discovery and rediscovery of Sam from when he meets Harry again, the period when they drift apart, the various guys that Sam tries to get involved until Stasia’s wedding.

Sam was very shy, closed to the world and Harry is a fluid and adventurous person, but they both feel a lot of love and companionship for each other, take care of each other, understand and complement each other.

Despite all the cliché stereotypes and a light plot, friendship issues are posed as important agendas, not just wanting sex but something permanent, until the end they decide to be together.

Their careers and how their sexuality interferes, as Sam works with politicians. Issues about adoption, work pressures, and social goals are also addressed and questioned in very subtle ways.

I really liked this movie and I recommend it to everyone who enjoys a cute and clichéd romance.

If you’ve already watched it, tell it here, if not, go watch it and come back here to give your opinion.
